Vero (“the App”) is a pattern-recognition game operated by Vero Labs, Inc. (“we,” “us,” “our”). This policy describes what data we collect, why, and your rights.
When you sign up or log in via our authentication provider (Clerk), we receive:
We do not receive or store your OAuth passwords.
If you enter your email address in the “get notified” form on this website, we store that address and which page it came from, for one purpose: emailing you once when Vero launches. It is not used for marketing, is never sold or shared, and you can ask us to delete it at any time using the contact address below.
Collected automatically through our analytics and error-reporting SDKs, only after you have granted analytics consent on first launch:
| SDK | Data collected | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| PostHog | Anonymous usage events, device type, OS version, app version, screen views | Product analytics & feature-flag evaluation |
| Sentry | Crash reports, stack traces, device info, OS version | Error monitoring & stability |
You can optionally choose a profile photo from your device's photo library; when you do, it's uploaded to our authentication provider (Clerk) and shown on your profile. We don't otherwise access your photo library, and we do not collect precise location, contacts, or microphone/camera data.
The App uses on-device SQLite storage to cache gameplay data for offline access. This data stays on your device unless synced to our servers during normal gameplay.
We do not sell your personal data.
We share data only with the service providers listed below, each acting as a data processor on our behalf:
We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Subprocessor changes. If we add or replace a processor that handles your personal data, we will update this policy and notify users at least 30 days in advance via in-app notice or email to the address on your account, so you have time to review the change before it takes effect.
Enterprise customers who need a signed Data Processing Agreement (GDPR Article 28) may request one at admin@tradermatrix.pro.
When you delete your account through Settings → Account Settings → Delete Account, we hold your data for a 90-day grace period during which you can sign back in to cancel the deletion. After the grace period expires, we permanently remove your personal data from our production database within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated data may be retained for analytics.
You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
Our lawful bases for processing are: contract performance (gameplay), legitimate interest (analytics, stability), and consent (where required). You may withdraw consent or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Charts shown in the game use delayed historical market data (at least one week old) for entertainment and educational purposes only. No real-time market data is displayed. Symbol identities are hidden during gameplay.
Vero is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). The signup screen requires you to confirm you meet the applicable minimum age. If we learn that an account belongs to a child below the threshold we will close it and delete the associated personal data.
We use HTTPS for all data in transit, encrypted token storage on-device, and industry-standard access controls for our infrastructure. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
